The records consist of a disbound copy of the 1750 guidebook Museo Capitolino o sia descrizione delle statue, busti, bassirilievi, urne sepolcrali, iscrizioni, ed altre ammirabili, ed erudite antichità€ (In Roma, nella Stamperia del Bernabò€, e Lazzarini, MDCCL, 71 p. ); and handwritten records, which include an undated inventory of the Museo Capitolino, another inventory dated 1752, a listing of churches in Rome, their income in the form of gifts and alms, and festival records and expenditures from 1750-1753, and two memoranda: one dated April 6, 1754 regarding accounting information for pictures and sculptures in the Museo Capitolino; the other undated and in reference to the art items and their respective costs in the upper statue gallery of the Palazzo dei senatori. Also included are 2 leaves of a printed broadside entitled Ordini da osservarsi dalli fedeli di Campidoglio, published in Rome by Stamperia della Reverenda Camera Apostolica in 1753, written by Giuseppe Bargellini, a fiscal officer for the Papal State, listing the responsibilities of security officers and custodians of the museum. A 10 p. handwritten copy of the text, dated 18 June 1753, is included. Lastly, the collection contains a 2 p. document announcing two vacant positions in the galleries of the Campidoglio.
